Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters’ Association “IMMIB” incorporating six associations performing 30 % of the total exports of Turkey, has awarded star companies achieving this success. In the award night traditionalized by IMMIB, Mr. Alper Peker, the Managing Director of Aksa Jeneratör, received the 3RD Award in Other Electrical and Electronic Equipment Category, from Mr. Nihat Zeybekçi, the Republic of Turkey Minister of Economics and Mr. Mehmet Büyükekşi, Chairman of Turkish Exporters’ Assembly.

Mr. Alper Peker, the Managing Director of Aksa Jeneratör stated with regards to the award that “Today, we make production in 3 continents and export to 160 countries with our 30 years of experience in the industry. We always have the excitement on our first day, while working intensively and consistently in international markets as the generator brand of Turkey. Throughout all geographies of 7 continents of the world, 1 Aksa Generator meets with the costumers in every 5 minutes. We will carry the reliable brand image of our company forward to the next generations in the best way possible with the same stability and continue working for making the best of our contribution for achieving Turkey’s export target of 500 Billion Dollars in 2023.

We are increasing our strength in the international markets by working together with the strongest suppliers of the world. Along with year 2013 star of export award, we have also been awarded by South Korean Doosan Motor Company, the biggest engine manufacturer of the world, with “The Best Customer in 2013 Award” for being the company who sold the highest quantity of generators with Doosan Engines around the world. We will continue our engagement with our business partners, Cummins and Doosan companies, who give direction to the global market and have been walking on the same road with us for many years, with our always customer oriented and reliable brand image. These awards, that we deserve as the result of the devoted works carried out in 2013 passing with success, do not only make us happy, but also lead us for reaching the targets in 2023”.
